About the course

You will learn how to manage and monitor the fixed asset of an organization using Asset Accounting in the SAP System. SAP Asset Accounting is a widely accepted and globally used accounting application for a number of businesses. In the SAP Asset Accounting, you will find it as a subsidiary ledger to the general ledger that provides detailed information on the transaction which involves fixed asset. You will learn about how to process Master Data with the help of Basic Valuation of Functions, Transactions, Closing Operations, and Depreciations. You will also be able to deal with the basic functions of SAP Asset Accounting that cover the entire lifespan of the process from the initial requisition to all the way to asset requirement. You will also learn how this system calculates automatically and produces the depreciation values, interest rate, and other required information using the business process Information System. Here, you will also be able to learn with special valuations using SAP Asset Accounting that includes processing leased assets and the preparation for consolidation for group financial statement.
