COURSE DESCRIPTION

BPC450 SAP Embedded Business Planning And Consolidation For SAP BW 4HANA is a 5-day instructor-led classroom or a virtual class aimed at helping you learn about critical administration, implementation, planning, and configuration and gain the appropriate reporting skills. The reporting skills will be used under the SAP Business Planning and Consolidation, SAP Net Weaver and SAP BW/4HANA versions. You will be taught how to provide a one-stop-shop for planning requirements with the help of SAP Business Warehouse, Business Planning and Consolidation, Integrated planning, and the Analysis for Excel 2.5. This will include the automatic and manual planning, local characteristics, hierarchies, and providers, hence maintaining the master data obtained from the BPC Web Client.

You will learn to model advanced Data Store Objects and Composite Providers for planning scenarios in the Embedded model. This includes data loads, manual input planning, characteristic relations, commenting, and merging SAP and external data. You will learn various techniques such as BW Queries, Analysis for Excel options, standard planning functions (e.g., top-down distribution, FOX coding), and ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP) to meet business calculation requirements.

In Design Studio and Analysis for Excel, you will gain skills in creating planning applications, performing ad hoc planning, integrating planning functions, and utilizing advanced techniques (including VBA). You will also learn to control planning processes through work status business process flows, manage security, and transport new objects.

By the end of the course, you will be able to model advanced objects, perform business calculations, use Design Studio and Analysis for Excel for planning, control planning processes, and manage security and object transport. You can, however, be offered a free retraining session, but the passing guarantee for this course is 100% assured.

PREREQUISITES

• You are required to have a sound knowledge of BW concepts.
• You must also possess some knowledge of the user interfaces (BW310 or BW310H or any equivalent knowledge).
